AMERICAN FOOTBALL: BBC to air Monday night NFL matches on Red Button/Online

UPDATE: Live Monday night NFL matches on BBC Red Button will have a new look from week 10 of the regular season.

Beginning with the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, the BBC’s coverage will now feature a new studio-based show, produced by NFL International in conjunction with USP Content.

The shows will be presented by BBC Radio 5 live’s Darren Fletcher, with former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Rocky Boiman joining him in the studio to provide expert analysis.

MOTORSPORT: British Superbikes 2012 – Live on British Eurosport / Highlights on ITV4

A new season of the British Superbike Championship is underway, with live coverage on British Eurosport 2 and free-to-air highlights on ITV4 throughout the season.

The 2012 campaign will have to go some way to match the drama of last season’s enthralling championship climax, where Tommy Hill clinched the title by just six thousandths of a second in the final race of the year at Brands Hatch, the closest ever finish to a riders’ title in the history of the series.

MOTORSPORT: BBC to show 2012 MotoGP season live in HD

The BBC will show every race of the 2012 MotoGP season in high-definition for the first time, with all 18 races live throughout the season.

Australian Casey Stoner claimed his second premier class title last year and starts again as favourite for the new season, although the form book could all change in 2012 with the bikes increasing in size from 800cc to 1,000cc this year.

FORMULA 1: 2012 season on the BBC – Everything you need to know

Formula 1 on the BBC enters a new era in 2012, with the corporation aiming to build on its multi-award-winning coverage over the last three years and provide fans another compelling year of racing.

It is the first time since the sport returned to the BBC in 2009 that they will not be showing every race live on TV, after the corporation decided to approach Sky Sports to form a controversial shared arrangement last year.

But terrestrial viewers can still follow the entire 20-race season on BBC Television, with full live coverage of 10 grands prix, along extended highlights of the other 10 events throughout the season.

FORMULA 1: BBC announces 2012 season line-up

The BBC has confirmed the names that will form its new-look Formula 1 team for the 2012 season.

Following the high-profile departures of commentator Martin Brundle and pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz to Sky Sports, the corporation has found two experienced replacements to fill those roles.

As reported in December, Ben Edwards will partner David Coulthard in the commentary box, while technical analysis and expertise will be provided by former F1 technical director Gary Anderson.
