Another thrilling year of wheel-to-wheel racing gets underway this weekend as the 2013 British Touring Car Championship season begins around the famous Brands Hatch Indy circuit in Kent.
Britain’s most popular national motorsport series is preparing for one of the biggest and most competitive seasons in its illustrious 56-year history with a record 18 teams entering a total of 32 cars.
ITV Sport will continue to provide comprehensive free-to-air coverage thoughout the 2013 season with each of the 10 race meetings exclusively live on ITV4 and ITV4 HD.

ITV will continue to broadcast live free-to-air television coverage of the MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) until at least the end of 2016.
With one year of the current agreement remaining a new three-year addition to the existing partnership has been agreed, securing the BTCC’s vast ITV broadcasting agreement for the next four seasons.
All BTCC race days will continue to be broadcast live on both ITV4, ITV4 HD and online via itv.com, with late-night highlights on ITV.

David Addison has been confirmed as ITV Sport’s new lead commentator for its Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship coverage.
Addison will join former BTCC title winner and long-time series commentator Tim Harvey in the commentary box for all ten events this season, which will once again be broadcast live on ITV4 and ITV4 HD.
He replaces Toby Moody, who has returned full-time to his MotoGP commentaries with Eurosport after just single season with ITV, who in turn stepped in to replace Ben Edwards after his departure to the BBC F1 team in 2011.

A host of sports documentaries and review shows are to be broadcast on ITV4 as part of the channel’s Christmas schedules.
The programmes feature all the best moments from some of ITV’s top sporting events from 2012, including Bradley Wiggins’ magnificent Tour de France success, the story of the Euro 2012 and Chelsea’s phenominal UEFA Champions League triumph, as well as reviews of the British Superbikes and the British Touring Car Championship seasons.
There are also repeat showings of some of ITV4’s various motorsport programmes from 2012, including reviews of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival, and the Isle of Man TT.

After nine meetings and 27 races covering the length and breadth of the UK, the climax to a thrilling Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship takes place this weekend at Brands Hatch.
Scotland’s Gordon Shedden, two-time champion Jason Plato and triple title winner Matt Neal go into the finale with 31 points separating them at the top of the drivers’ championship, with 67 left to play for on Sunday, October 21.
ITV4 will have comprehensive coverage of the final meeting of the 2012 season, featuring rounds 28, 29 and 30 of the BTCC as well as a variety of exciting support races on a bumper afternoon a top-class British motorsport.

ITV will once again provide extensive coverage of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season.
All ten BTCC race days throughout the year will receive up to seven hours of live coverage on ITV4, meaning fans will be able to see every second of the action from Britain’s biggest four-wheeled motor racing championship unfold as it happens.

Steve Rider and Louise Goodman will continue to present ITV’s extensive coverage of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in 2012.
Both will front ITV4’s comprehensive live Sunday broadcasts from all ten events of Britain’s biggest motorsport championship, spanning seven hours between 11am and 6pm.
Every BTCC race will be shown live on the channel, as well as action from the support championships, including the Porsche Carrera Cup and Renault Clio Cup.
