BOXING: David Haye signs deal with Matchroom and Sky Sports

British heavyweight David Haye has announced that he will return to action against Manuel Charr in Manchester on June 29, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

The former WBA world heavyweight champion Haye also confirmed that his camp have struck up a commercial relationship with promoter Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, who are currently the exclusive provider of Sky’s live boxing shows.

Matchroom and Hayemaker will co-promote the shows headlined by the former world champion, beginning with the clash against the 28 year-old German challenger Charr at Manchester Arena.

It’s crunch time for Sheffield’s Kell Brook as he looks to continue his ascent towards becoming a world champion when he faces Hector Saldivia in a final eliminator for IBF world welterweight title.
