FORMULA 1: Spanish Grand Prix 2013 – Live on BBC TV & Sky Sports F1

After a thrilling start to the season during the first four flyaway races, Formula 1 returns to action in its spiritual heartland of Europe for this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.

Traditionally this is the race where teams bring major upgrade packages to the track, whilst the layout of the Circuit de Catalunya will give both the drivers and their cars a thorough examination.

BBC Sport and Sky Sports will both broadcast live coverage of every practice session, qualifying and the race throughout the Spanish Grand Prix weekend on May 10-12.

FORMULA 1: Sky Sports confirms its coverage plans for 2013

Sky Sports F1 will show the Monaco Grand Prix exclusively live next year when the Formula 1 World Championship returns for the 2013 season.

The broadcaster has confirmed its plans for 2013 which will include live coverage of every practice session, qualifying session and race from each grand prix weekend with 10 of them exclusively live.

Every race will be screened on the dedicated Formula 1 channel Sky Sports F1 HD, which made its debut during the 2012 season.

FORMULA 1: British Grand Prix 2012 – Live on BBC Two & Sky Sports F1

One of the most exciting Formula 1 campaigns to date continues with the British Grand Prix, and BBC TV and Sky Sports F1 will have all the action covered for fans throughout the weekend.

Forming part of bumper summer of sport on British soil, Silverstone will be the setting for the ninth round of this year’s Formula 1 World Championship.

This year’s race is expected to be a complete sell-out, a clear sign that the sport’s devoted British following will be out in force to support their local heroes, featuring British trio Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Paul di Resta, who will all harbour ambitions of ascending the Silverstone podium.

MOTORSPORT: Sky Sports F1 to show GP2 and GP3 Series

Sky Sports have announced that their new Formula 1 channel will include live coverage of both the GP2 and GP3 Series.

Complementing the channel’s coverage of every session from all 20 races in 2012, fans will have the chance to receive a glimpse into the future of motorsport with both series considered to be the premier breeding ground for Formula 1 drivers of the future.

Sky Sports F1 HD will show two GP2 races per weekend, which includes a feature race on Saturday afternoons and a shorter sprint race on Sunday mornings.
