First up, Wladimir Klitschko puts his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight titles on the line against undefeated Italian Francesco Pianeta in Mannheim, Germany, exclusively live on ESPN.

Then in the early hours of Sunday morning, the world’s top pound-for-pound fighter Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Junior defends his WBC World Welterweight title against Robert ‘The Ghost’ Gurrero at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, live and exclusive on BoxNation.

BOXING: Channel 5 signs deal to show Tyson Fury v Steve Cunningham

Channel 5 has signed a late deal to screen live coverage of the biggest fight of Tyson Fury’s career to date as he makes his US debut against Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden on April 20.

With just under a week to go until Fury travels to faces the former two-time world cruiserweight champion on his home soil, a UK television deal to screen the fight has been secured after talks between Channel 5 and promoter Hennessy Sports.

The young heavyweight, 24, will now explode onto the American scene in front of network and terrestrial television in the US and the UK respectively in an official IBF world heavyweight title eliminator.

BOXING: ESPN to screen Wladimir Klitschko world title defence

Wladimir Klitschko’s defence of his world heavyweight title against Mariusz Wach will be shown live in the UK after ESPN agreed a deal to broadcast the fight.

Klitschko is looking to extend his eight-year winning streak when he takes on the unbeaten Polish giant in Hamburg on Saturday, November 10.
