TV: BT Sport announces on-air presentation line-up

BT Sport has revealed its full line-up of presenters, analysts, commentators and reporters ahead the network’s launch this summer.

Among the BT team are some big name signings from the worlds of football, rugby union and tennis, plus brief details of two new regular sports magazine shows presented by Clare Balding and Tim Lovejoy.

Alongside a raft of major announcements made at BT Sport’s new headquarters on the Olympic Park, the channel’s advertising campaign hits television screens which reveasl the exciting and accessible personality of its new channels.

BT Sport has also set its launch date – Thursday, August 1, 2013.

TV: Sporting Heroes – New series on Sky Sports

A new 12-part series on Sky Sports will take you up close and personal with some of the biggest stars in the world of sport.

Sporting Heroes invites a host of big names to take part in an hour-long interview to bring Sky Sports viewers an in-depth look at some of the biggest names from a variety of disiplines.

Veteran sports broadcaster Gary Newbon will introduce each episode and conduct three of the interviews in series, but in twist compared to most series of its kind it will be also asking sports stars to interview their own sporting heroes, bringing viewers an even more unique insight into their lives and careers.

TV: Sports Life Stories – New series on ITV4

ITV4 is to screen a brand new eight-part documentary series in which sporting legends speak honestly and candidly about their careers.

Presented by ITV’s chief sports reporter Gabriel Clarke, Sports Life Stories chronicles the lives of many of Britain’s and the world’s best-loved sporting stars and high-achievers.
