World Cup qualifying returns for a bumper stretch across June with significant action in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.
Scotland’s tricky away qualifier against Croatia in Zagreb is live on both BBC Two Scotland and ESPN on June 7, while Sky Sports will screen the Republic of Ireland’s qualifying encounter against the Faroe Islands in Dublin on the same night.
A host of other top international clashes will be shown on ESPN, British Eurosport and Premier Sports, plus UK users can watch a variety of European qualifying matches for FREE via the Qualifiers 2014 YouTube channel, including Portugal v Russia live on this site from 8.45pm.

The BBC has secured the rights to broadcast England’s two Tests against Argentina in June.
Stuart Lancaster’s team travel to South America, minus their British & Irish Lions contingent, for what will be their first two-match series against the Pumas in Argentina since 1997.
BBC commentator Brian Moore, who is covering the forthcoming Lions Tour with talkSPORT, confirmed that the corporation had picked up the rights to screen the tw0-test series from the Argentine rugby board UAR.

The IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will be broadcast live on UK television for the first time in its history after Premier Sports agreed a deal to cover the 2013 tournament.
The subscription channel, which operates on the Sky platform, will show 20 games of the 2013 World Championships taking place in both Stockholm and Helsinki from May 3-19.
In addition, Premier Sports has acquired the rights to show all of Great Britain’s games in the second-tier IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A, which will be played in Budapest between April 14 and 21.

The BBC has secured a last-minute deal to broadcast the semi-finals and the final of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
Featuring 2012 UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea, the annual tournament brings together the club champions from all six FIFA confederations.
Both semi-finals will be shown live on the Red Button and the BBC HD channel, with highlights of Chelsea’s semi-final match on BBC Two shortly after its conclusion.
The final will be shown exclusively live on BBC Two and BBC HD on Sunday, December 16.

Thursday promises great action across a broad range of events, starting in Hyde Park’s Serpentine lake at midday when Great Britain’s Keri-Anne Payne takes on the marathon swim.
Each entrant will swim six laps of the course as they aim to win the Olympic title, with Payne among the favourites to claim gold, having finished second four years ago in Beijing, where the event made its debut in the Games.
