XMAS WATCH: Christmas Specials on Sky Sports

Sky Sports presents a bumper line-up of programming this festive season with a host of Christmas specials and review shows looking back at the some the memorable moments that have enlightened viewers throughout 2012.

The Gillette Soccer Saturday team return to the pitch for their Christmas special as the show’s pundits pair off to battle it out again for the Soccer Saturday Cup, and stars from the worlds of sport and entertainment are welcomed onto the Soccer AM sofa for a special Christmas Day edition.

There’s also a chance to relive the drama of some of the biggest sporting moments of the year, including Chelsea’s sensational UEFA Champions League triumph in Munich and Europe’s remarkable comeback at the Ryder Cup in Medinah.

LONDON 2012: Paralympics Watch – Day 5

After a pheonmenal weekend of sport watched by record audiences both at the venues and on television, the Paralympic Games continue apace as the event enters its fifth day of competition.

Veteran GB swimmer Sascha Kindred (above) looks to continue an unbeaten run in global championships stretching back to 1998 in the SM6 200m individual medley.

On the track, can world record holder Mickey Bushell sprint to golden glory in the T53 100m?

LONDON 2012: Paralympics Watch – Day 4

Another sensational day of Paralympic sport is lined up for your viewing pleasure on day four of the London Games, with plenty of British gold medal prospects in action throughout.

All eyes will be on David Weir (above) and Shelly Woods at the Olympic Stadium as they look to make it a golden double in the T54 5000m (men’s race at 9.50pm, women’s at 10.40am).

But the blockbuster moment could well come at 9.15pm when Oscar Pistorius goes for his first gold of these Games in the T44 200m.

LONDON 2012: Paralympics Watch – Day 3

Swimming’s golden girl Ellie Simmonds defends the first of her two Paralympic titles on day three of the Games, and Lee Pearson could win his 10th equestrian gold medal when he competes in the individual 1b test.

The golden girl of entire ParalympicsGB squad in Bejing four years ago, Simmonds will look to hold on to her S6 400m freestyle title and claim another Paralympic gold medal for Great Britain at 5.50pm.

Viewers are invited to join in the wave of enthusiasm and excitement each weeknight in the run-up to the Paralympics at 7.30pm on Channel 4.
