Channel 5 will screen live coverage of James DeGale’s latest WBC Super Middleweight Silver title defence at Glow in Bluewater on Saturday (June 8).
DeGale claimed his 15th professional victory from 16 fights just four weeks ago with a second-round stoppage of Sebastien Demers in Canada, and he will be expecting to prevail once again against his Croatian opponent, who has lost three of his last six contests.
There’s a double of dose of international boxing on terrestrial television this weekend as BBC Two presents highlights of this week’s European Amateur Championships from Belarus on Sunday afternoon.

After one of the greatest years in British sporting history, Sue Barker, Gary Lineker and Clare Balding host the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year, live from London’s ExCeL on BBC One and BBC One HD.
In front of a crowd of over 15,000 people, the star-studded event will feature some of the greatest names in world sport, with the evening culminating in the presentation of one of the most coveted awards in sport, which is chosen by viewers live on the night.
There are 12 contenders for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award this year to reflect such an extraordinary year, and with so much to look back on from the last 12 months, the show has been extended by an extra half-an-hour.
The 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year will bring down the curtain on a historic 12 months of sport and you can enjoy the entire ceremony live on BBC One from 7.30pm on Sunday, December 16.

Following an unprecedented year of sport, the BBC has announced the final shortlist of 12 sportspeople who make up the shortlist for BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2012.
This year’s list, revealed live on the BBC’s One Show programme by presenter Gary Lineker, reflects the success of a truly remarkable year and the exceptional achievements of British sportsmen and women.
The 12 shortlisted contenders will now compete for the public vote on the night of the live show, which will be presented by Sue Barker, Gary Lineker and Clare Balding, on BBC One and BBC One HD on Sunday, December 16, starting at 7.30pm.

BBC One presents a revival of the popular sporting entertainment show Superstars for a one-off spectacular Olympic special on Saturday, December 29, at 6.45pm.
Due to form part of BBC One’s Christmas schedule, Superstars 2012 sees 16 of Great Britain’s London 2012 Olympic heroes, including 10 gold medallists, competing against their Team GB team-mates in a dramatic and thrilling competition, as they vie to be crowned the two best all-round Superstars.
Gabby Logan, one of the faces of the BBC’s London 2012 Olympics coverage, will present revived programme, where she will be joined for the 90-minute special by former Olympians Denise Lewis and Iwan Thomas, who as pundits will provide their own unique spin on the action.

Thursday promises great action across a broad range of events, starting in Hyde Park’s Serpentine lake at midday when Great Britain’s Keri-Anne Payne takes on the marathon swim.
Each entrant will swim six laps of the course as they aim to win the Olympic title, with Payne among the favourites to claim gold, having finished second four years ago in Beijing, where the event made its debut in the Games.
