BOXING: Jamie McDonnell’s world title fight live on Primetime

Jamie McDonnell’s world title fight against unbeaten Julio Ceja will be televised by pay-per-view network Primetime.

McDonnell faces the big punching Mexican for the vacant IBF bantamweight crown at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on May 11, as he aims to become the town’s first ever boxing world champion.

The fight, plus several undercard bouts, will be available to watch for £10.95 on Sky, Virgin, online and via the Primetime App for smartphones/iPad.

BOXING: Pacquiao v Marquez, Magee v Kessler, DeGale v Zuniga – Live this Saturday

Channel 5 has live coverage James DeGale’s fight for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight title against Colombian Fulgencio Zuniga, with talented British prospects Kid Galahad and Chris Eubank Jr also in action.

BOXING: Ricky Hatton’s comeback live on Primetime

Ricky Hatton’s return to the ring against Ukrainian Vyacheslav Senchenko will be broadcast exclusively live by pay-per-view sports channel Primetime.

Former WBA welterweight champion Senchenko is expected to be a tough opponent for ‘The Hitman’ as he makes his comeback after a three-year absence in front of a sell-out home crowd at the Manchester Arena on Saturday, November 24 (fight start: 10pm approx).

The PPV broadcaster will screen the headline fight as well as three undercard fights from 7.00pm on channel 498 on Sky, Virgin on-Demand, streamed live via the Primetime website, and in selected pubs/bars and cinemas across the UK.

BOXING: King Khan returns to Sky Sports

Amir Khan will defend his WBA and IBF Light-Welterweight world titles against Lamont Peterson, live on Sky Sports.

Khan will fight on Sky for the first time since he beat Marcos Maidana last December, in a clash that many boxing pundits described as the best fight of 2010.

Live coverage of the Peterson showdown on December 10 will be the first of three bouts featuring Khan to be shown as part of the new deal, and every fight will be screened on one of the main Sky Sports channels.

BOXING: Khan fight switches to Primetime PPV after Sky row

Amir Khan’s defence of his WBA light-welterweight crown will now be shown by pay-per-view channel Primetime, following a dispute between the British boxer’s promoter and Sky Sports over scheduling.

Primetime picked up the rights to the fight on Monday, after a row between Khan’s promoter, Golden Boy, and Sky resulted in the broadcaster pulling the entire M.E.N bill from its schedules.
