TV: BT Sport announces on-air presentation line-up

BT Sport has revealed its full line-up of presenters, analysts, commentators and reporters ahead the network’s launch this summer.

Among the BT team are some big name signings from the worlds of football, rugby union and tennis, plus brief details of two new regular sports magazine shows presented by Clare Balding and Tim Lovejoy.

Alongside a raft of major announcements made at BT Sport’s new headquarters on the Olympic Park, the channel’s advertising campaign hits television screens which reveasl the exciting and accessible personality of its new channels.

BT Sport has also set its launch date – Thursday, August 1, 2013.

LONDON 2012: Paralympic Games – Meet the C4 team

Channel 4’s pioneering coverage of the London 2012 Paralympic Games will be fronted by a ground-breaking team of presenters and reporters who will guide viewers through the biggest Games ever.

Around half of the on-air team are disabled – including eight new faces drawn from a nationwide talent search – and they will be partnered with a selection of established sports broadcasters.

Channel 4 will provide comprehensive coverage across all 12 days of competition, where viewers will witness unfettered sporting brilliance, courage, talent, triumph and tragedy, as dreams are made and broken in the cauldron of top class competitive sport.

The 2012 Paralympics will be the biggest event in Channel 4’s 30-year history, with almost 500 hours of live coverage will be broadcast during the twelve days of competition, marking the most extensive Paralympic Games coverage ever broadcast in the UK.
