The BBC has secured the rights to broadcast England’s two Tests against Argentina in June.
Stuart Lancaster’s team travel to South America, minus their British & Irish Lions contingent, for what will be their first two-match series against the Pumas in Argentina since 1997.
BBC commentator Brian Moore, who is covering the forthcoming Lions Tour with talkSPORT, confirmed that the corporation had picked up the rights to screen the tw0-test series from the Argentine rugby board UAR.

After four long years for British and Irish fans, the Lions roar into life once again for the 2013 Tour of Australia and Sky Sports will be the only place to witness all the drama as a magical month of rugby unfolds.
Warren Gatland and his coaching staff will be looking to secure the first Lions series win since South Africa in 1997 and create a new breed of legends to wear the famous red jersey, led by captain Sam Warburton.
The Lions will be heading down under for the 125th anniversary tour to take on Australia in three test matches and a further six tour matches, with an additional game to kick-start the tour in Hong Kong against the famous Barbarians side on June 1.

BT Sport has revealed its full line-up of presenters, analysts, commentators and reporters ahead the network’s launch this summer.
Among the BT team are some big name signings from the worlds of football, rugby union and tennis, plus brief details of two new regular sports magazine shows presented by Clare Balding and Tim Lovejoy.
Alongside a raft of major announcements made at BT Sport’s new headquarters on the Olympic Park, the channel’s advertising campaign hits television screens which reveasl the exciting and accessible personality of its new channels.
BT Sport has also set its launch date – Thursday, August 1, 2013.

Sky Sports has signed a four-year deal to broadcast matches from the RaboDirect Pro12 for the first time, beginning in the 2014/15 season.
Featuring the top club sides from Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Italy, including Europe’s current number one ranked side Leinster, defending champions Ospreys and current leaders Ulster, the new non-exclusive deal will reportedly signal a boost of around 50% on existing Pro12 TV rights revenues.
Regional Pro12 broadcasters such as BBC Wales, BBC NI, BBC Alba and S4C are expected to continue screening live matches alongside Sky’s UK-wide coverage from 2014/15, ensuring the continuation of free-to-air coverage for viewers in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

As the 2012/13 Heineken Cup campaign heads towards a thrilling climax, just four sides are left in the hunt for domestic club rugby union’s most coveted prize.
Surprise package Munster will make the daunting trip to Top 14 leaders Clermont on Saturday, April 27, while Saracens will take on big-spending Toulon at Twickenham on Sunday, April 28.
Two sides will book their place in next month’s final at the Aviva Stadoum this weekend as both semi-finals are played out exclusively live on Sky Sports HD, along with the semi-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio has signed with BT Sport to become its chief analyst on its rugby union coverage.
Dallaglio, 40, is the first major signing for BT Sport’s exclusive live coverage of up to 69 live rugby matches a season from the Aviva Premiership.
He will be a co-commentator for some live matches and studio pundit for other live clashes when BT Sport launches in the summer.

Sky Sports has been awarded the rights to screen all of Ireland, France and Italy’s Autumn Internationals exclusively live from 2014.
The trio of four-year agreements will more than double Sky’s live offering of international test matches, joining its existing long-term deal with the RFU for England’s QBE Internationals.
The new deal ends the BBC’s long association with Irish international rugby outside the Six Nations, but the corporation will screen Ireland’s 2013 autumn internationals in the remaining year of its existing contract.

BBC Sport will have extensive coverage of the 2013 RBS 6 Nations during February and March 2013 with all 15 games exclusively live on BBC TV.
The 2013 tournament concludes in grand style with the title decider in Cardiff between old foes Wales and England in front of a raucous Millenniums Stadium crowd, with the visitors looking to secure their first Grand Slam in a decade.
Wales faltered after winning the Grand Slam in 2012 with a string of defeats, but their confidence has slowly been rebuilt during this year’s Championship after three successive away victories over France, Italy and Scotland.
England travel to the Millennium Stadium aiming to secure the title against the reigning champions, with the prospect of a first Grand Slam since 2003 also on the cards.

The crème de la crème of northern hemisphere rugby go head-to-head in the battle for the sport’s biggest honours in the 2012/13 Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup competitions.
Club sides from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy will all be vying to rip the trophy from Leinster, who last season became only the second side to both successfully retain the title and lift a third European honour.
The final round of the pool stages takes place this weekend with quarter-final places at stake, and Sky Sports will again screen 11 live Heineken Cup games as well as one match from the Amlin Challenge Cup.
