The eight best teams in international one-day cricket compete for the last-ever ICC Champions Trophy this summer with all the action only on Sky Sports.

Ahead of their Ashes visit later this summer, Australia will be aiming to claim their third consecutive Champions Trophy title in a row having won the competition in convincing fashion four years ago in South Africa and in India back in 2006.

They will face fierce competition from India, the number one ranked side in the world and current World Cup holders, hosts England, led by captain Alastair Cook, and a strong South African side.

RUGBY UNION: BBC to screen England’s two summer tests against Argentina

The BBC has secured the rights to broadcast England’s two Tests against Argentina in June.

Stuart Lancaster’s team travel to South America, minus their British & Irish Lions contingent, for what will be their first two-match series against the Pumas in Argentina since 1997.

BBC commentator Brian Moore, who is covering the forthcoming Lions Tour with talkSPORT, confirmed that the corporation had picked up the rights to screen the tw0-test series from the Argentine rugby board UAR.

CRICKET: ICC Women’s World Cup 2013 – Live on Sky Sports

A colossal year for women’s cricket begins on January 31 when the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup gets underway, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

Sky Sports will show live games throughout the competition as Charlotte Edwards’ team, currently the highest ranked nation in women’s one-day cricket, aim to defend the title they won in Sydney four years ago.

There will also be live commentary of every England match, plus the final in Mumbai February 17, on BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra and Radio 4 Long Wave.

FOOTBALL: Africa Cup of Nations 2013 – Live on ITV4 & British Eurosport

South Africa plays host to the 29th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations and you can see all the key games live on ITV4 and British Eurosport.

Africa’s three-week carnival of international football begins with hosts South Africa playing Cape Verde in the opening game at Soccer City in Johannesburg on January 19, with the final also set to be played there on February 10.

ITV4 will have live free-to-air coverage of 20 games, featuring every match from knock-out stages, while British Eurosport will screen all 32 games live during the competition.

FOOTBALL: ITV4 to screen 2013 Africa Cup of Nations

ITV4 will broadcast an unprecedented 20 live matches free-to-air from the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

In all, 12 group matches and every game from the knockout stages – four quarter finals, both semi finals, the third-place play-off and the final -will be shown on the channel, adding up to more free-to-air terrestrial coverage of the tournament than ever before.

The 29th edition of Africa’s premier international competition kicks off with the game between hosts South Africa and Cape Verde on January 19th at Soccer City, Johannesburg, with the final also due to be played at there on February 10.

RUGBY UNION: Rugby World Cup 2015 – Pool Stage Draw – Live on ITV4

RUGBY UNION: Autumn Internationals 2012 – Live on BBC, Sky Sports & ESPN

The giants of Southern Hemisphere rugby make the long trip north to face the best that Europe has to offer over four weeks of compelling Autumn Internationals.

Sky Sports has exclusive live coverage of all England home tests at Twickenham, while BBC TV has live coverage of Wales, Scotland and Ireland’s tests, plus highlights of England’s games on BBC Three.

All four home nations will be hoping to showcase their progress ahead of the Six Nations next spring and improve their ranking ahead of the draw for the 2015 Rugby World Cup this December.

In addition, ESPN will screen live coverage of France’s home test match against Australia, as well as Italy’s home fixtures against Tonga, Australia and New Zealand.
