CYCLING: UCI Track World Championships 2013 – Live on BBC TV

The world’s best track cyclists are in the Belarusian capital of Minsk for the 2013 UCI Track World Championships and you can watch extensive coverage on BBC TV from February 20-24.

Great Britain will be the team to beat in Minsk, having won eight gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics, seven of which came in track disciplines.

SWIMMING: FINA World Short Course Championships 2012 – Live on British Eurosport

Following on from the European Championships in France last month, British Eurosport now turns its attention to the world stage with live action from the 11th FINA World Swimming Short Course Championships in Istanbul.

A 19-strong British team will take on some of the world’s top short course swimmers as they descend on the Sinan Erdem Dome in Turkey’s second city for the final major meeting of the calendar year from December 12-16.

SWIMMING: European Short Course Championships 2012 – Live on British Eurosport

British Eurosport will broadcast extensive coverage of the 2012 LEN European Short Course Championships from Chartres, France.

The meeting is the first international swimming championships since London 2012, effectively marking the start of the new four-year Olympic cycle.

Great Britain will send an 17-strong squad across the channel for the event, which features a mixture of experienced swimmers and talented youngsters making their senior debuts at an international competition.

CYCLING: UCI Track World Cup 2012/13 – Round 2, Glasgow – Exclusively live on BBC TV

The first major international track cycling event in the UK since London 2012 takes place this weekend as Glasgow plays host to round two of the 2012-2013 UCI Track Cycling World Cup series.

Some of Team GB’s Olympic cycling stars, including double gold medallists Jason Kenny, Laura Trott, and Ed Clancy will receive a heroes welcome from a sell-out crowd inside the brand new Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, which makes its debut on the international stage.

BBC Sport will have exclusive coverage on TV, radio and online of all the key action from Glasgow from November 16-18.

RACING: Channel 4 unveils new horse racing team

Channel 4 has confirmed its full line-up of presenters, commentators and reporters for its exclusive coverage of horse racing on terrestrial television from 2013.

Having already secured the services of Clare Balding as lead presenter, experienced racing broadcaster Nick Luck will take on a key presenter role supporting Balding on all the sport’s major events.

Members of the current Channel 4 team including Emma Spencer, Jim McGrath and Simon Holt have been retained, and they will be joined by new names and faces on a refreshed Channel 4 Racing on January 1st 2013.
