Some familiar names from the world of European football adorn the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League season, and ITV and ESPN will be following the competition every step of the way to the final in May at the Amsterdam ArenA.
The knockout phase of this season’s competition continues with the second legs from the Round of 32 stages.
ITV has live coverage of Tottenham’s tie with Lyon and Liverpool’s clash with Zenit St Petersburg, while ESPN has Newcastle United’s tough trip to Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv, plus Chelsea’s home tie with Sparta Prague.

Some familiar names from the world of European football will adorn the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League this season, and ITV and ESPN will be following the competition every step of the way to the final next May at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Four matches will be broadcast live on concluding matchday in the group stages, with ITV4 screening live coverage of Tottenham and Liverpool’s games once again, while ESPN has Newcastle United’s away trip to Bordeaux.

Brace yourselves because ‘Thriller Thursday’ has arrived as some of the most iconic Paralympians take centre stage inside the Olympic Stadium for what will be an unforgetable day.
South African superstar Oscar Pistorius defends his T44 100m title against the USA’s Jerome Singleton and ParalympicsGB’s Jonnie Peacock (above), who recently knocked 0.06 seconds off the world record.
David Weir will be out to retain his T54 800m title, while Libby Clegg has her eyes on the T12 200m top spot after securing silver in Beijing.

Cyclist Sarah Storey kicks off the action as she goes for the first of four possible golds in the individual C5 pursuit, and European champion Ben Quilter is one of Britain’s best hopes of a judo gold.

Thursday promises great action across a broad range of events, starting in Hyde Park’s Serpentine lake at midday when Great Britain’s Keri-Anne Payne takes on the marathon swim.
Each entrant will swim six laps of the course as they aim to win the Olympic title, with Payne among the favourites to claim gold, having finished second four years ago in Beijing, where the event made its debut in the Games.

At the top of that list comes track cycling in the new state-of-the-art Velodrome inside the Olympic Park, where Team GB’s star names will to build on from the momentum following Bradley Wiggins’ superb victory on the road time-trial.
