DIVING: FINA Diving World Series 2013, Edinburgh – Live on Sky Sports

The third leg of the 2013 FINA/Midea Diving World Series takes place at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh this weekend.

First held in 2007, this high-profile competition features some of the brightest diving stars in the world, including Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley, who will compete in his first major event of the year.

Sky Sports will be covering the event in a special programme on Sunday, April 21 at 5.30pm, featuring all the key action from the weekend’s competition.

BBC Three presents a fun, irreverent and uplifting countdown of the 50 greatest moments from the unforgettable and historic London 2012 Olympic Games on Monday, December 17, at 8.30pm.

Gabby Logan and Radio 1 presenter Greg James present the two-hour special, featuring contributions from those who made the headlines at this summer’s extravaganza, including gold medallists Usain Bolt, Jessica Ennis, Andy Murray and Mo Farah, as well as diving star Tom Daley.

Olympics 2012: 50 Greatest Moments will relive all the spectacular events, as well as some of the light-hearted ones, from the biggest sporting spectacle in our lifetime.

LONDON 2012: Olympics Watch – Sat 11th August

A week on from Great Britain’s golden hour on ‘Super Saturday’, Mo Farah returns to the scene of his greatest triumph in a bid to become a double Olympic champion.

He has already played his part in one of the greatest nights in British sporting history and he goes for a second Olympic gold medal in the 5,000m final at 7.30pm.

Great Britain also have strong medal hopes in the diving pool and in the boxing ring.

LONDON 2012: Olympics Watch – Monday 29th July

The first Monday of the London 2012 Games introduces one of Great Britain’s key protagonists for Olympic glory.

Tom Daley dives for a medal with partner Pete Waterfield in the men’s 10m platform synchro event in the Aquatics Centre, starting at 3pm on BBC One.

Zara Phillips and her GB eventing team-mates will be in action during the sport’s dramatic cross-country stage in Greenwich Park throughout Monday afternoon, then Britain’s men’s gymnasts will go for a team medal, after making the final of this event for the first time in 88 years, from 4.30pm.

LONDON 2012: Tom Daley – Diving for Britain – Documentary on BBC One

BBC One will broadcast a special documentary which follows the life of teenage diving sensation Tom Daley in his preparations for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Award-winning film-maker Jane Treays has followed Tom for the past two years to observe the intimate story of his life and his family.

As the pressure increases to win an Olympic medal she captures the story of an incredible teenage athlete.
