The world will be watching on Sunday night when Super Bowl XLVII is contested at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, live on BBC Two and Sky Sports.
Baltimore Ravens will meet San Francisco 49ers in this year’s showdown after the 49ers defeated Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship match, while the Ravens beat New England Patriots in the AFC Championship finale.
The NFL’s climactic showpiece is always one the biggest events on the sporting calendar and this year’s game will be no exception, with New Orleans hosting the game for the first time since the city was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

American football makes its triumphant return to Wembley this Sunday as the St Louis Rams do battle with the New England Patriots.
The Rams are the designated home team and are making their Wembley debut, while the Patriots will be looking to win their second consecutive game on English soil after taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the corresponding fixture three years ago.
Sky Sports will have exclusive live coverage of the sixth NFL International Series match to be staged at London’s iconic Wembley stadium, with highlights on BBC One.

UPDATE: Live Monday night NFL matches on BBC Red Button will have a new look from week 10 of the regular season.
Beginning with the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, the BBC’s coverage will now feature a new studio-based show, produced by NFL International in conjunction with USP Content.
The shows will be presented by BBC Radio 5 live’s Darren Fletcher, with former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Rocky Boiman joining him in the studio to provide expert analysis.

Sky Sports has been awarded a new three-year deal for live coverage of the NFL on the eve of the 2012/13 season.
More than 60 live games will be broadcast each season, including the International Series game at Wembley Stadium, the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
The agreement takes the partnership between Sky Sports and the NFL into its 20th year with coverage to be provided across all platforms, including TV, mobile, online and tablet devices.
